Sunny January
We are in a drought and need rain but, are enjoying the nice weather. Last Saturday we had a picnic and watched and rode the train. Marshall really likes trains!
Here is Marshall in the blue car.... look closely, he is in there.
Marshall is a good brother, he likes to practice being soft and holding Clay.
Don't worry, I was there to help. Sometimes Marshall will hold Clay around the neck instead of around his belly. We are working on teaching Marshall how to be a big brother.

Christmas spoils
Marshall the biker!
Chrissy had a b-day celebration in the evening. She thought that it would be most efficient to open all her presents on one day.
Corbett's parents surprised him with something he's wanted for 2 years. I saw what Corbett must have looked like when he opened presents on Christmas morning when he was younger. He was so excited.
Marshall loved his train from Grammy & Grandpa Jackson!
Marshall and his bike!
Our favorite Christmas present was to talk with Uncle Cameron. He is in Cambodia serving a mission for our church. We missed him a lot but it made it feel like he was here to talk with him. Next year we will be together!

Christmas with the Jacksons
Grammy & Grandpa Jackson came to visit from snowy Oregon. They were going to fly but drove because of the uncertainty of their flight leaving. We were glad they made it safely here.
Marshall was so excited to have his grandparents here that he didn't nap. On Christmas Eve we sang Christmas songs and then read from the scriptures about the birth of Jesus. Marshall lasted about 1 minute of reading before he lost it. It was bed time. After the kids were down we talked, played games and ate lots of unhealthy yummy food that we don't east the rest of the year:)
