Mom, get my shoe now!
While driving Marshall's shoe fell off. He said, "Mom, get my shoe now!"
I then said, "Marshall I can't right now, I'm driving."
Marshall then said, "And you aren't elasta girl either, you can't reach."
(For those of you that haven't seen the INCREDIBLES, elasta girl can reach anything.)

Memorial Day Weekend in Santa Barbara
Photo Shoot..... its rare to get us all in a picture these days.
Its even more rare to have children both looking at the camera at the same time.
When I was younger I remember living at the Payne's pool in the Summer. Often we would go there for a BBQ on Memorial Day too. I always thought of the Paynes as my adopted grandparents. They were the real grandparents of our friends the Hansens... it just seemed natural to call them grandpa and grandma too. Here we are at the Memorial Day BBQ.

I Madonnari 2009
I Madonnari is one of my favorite community events. Every Memorial Day weekend on the steps of the Santa Barbara Mission, artists share their talent in this chalk drawing festival.

Alameda Park in Santa Barbara
This is a great park for kids. There are so many cool things to see and do. Marshall had a great time being on the shark...he says that it was a nice shark.
Grandpa Recoed and Marshall
Clay got to hang out with Grandma Record on a quilt while Marshall played.

Our own boys camp!
Tunnels
Tent & Books
Toys and Crawling
Pouring out all the toys
I gave Clay this tent and tunnel for Christmas. We finally got it out and they both loved it. We spent most the afternoon outside reading, eating lunch, playing with toys, crawling around and cuddling while still in our pajamas. I love being home with my boys, they bring me so much joy. I'm glad that I could be their mommy!
