Father and Son Camping
Grandpa visited from Oregon to go camping with the boys. Tanner and I stayed home and relaxed.

Spring!
While I was sorting the laundry, these are the things I found in my kids pockets. It made me smile.
Usually "clean out the fridge" dinner doesn't look like this, but my creativity turned out really good this time. I had the following that I needed to use before it went bad: pesto, salmon, peppers, asparagus, precooked rice. I made pesto rice- never heard of it, but it was really good. I made extra marinade to saute the veggies. Marinated salmon in soy sauce, garlic, honey, brown sugar and butter. Yummy!
We planed this Oklahoma Rosebud tree when we moved in 4 years ago. It is so beautiful in the Spring! I can only imagine what it will look like in 20 years.

Easter
Prior to Easter, Corbett had two grandparents and a baby cousin pass away with in three days of each other. It was interesting how the timing of it all was so close to Easter. These events, though sad, were a good reminder of the hope that we have in the resurrection.
